On the 21st of October me and Kelsey went to London with our Grandparents.
We packed our suit-cases the night before and were ready to set off to the train station. When we got there it was closed and there were quite a lot of people waiting out-side. So me, Kelsey and our Grandparents stayed in the car with Dad for about half an hour. Finally the train station opened and we got out of the warm car into the cold morning air ,brrrrrr.!!!
We grabbed our suit-cases said bye to our Dad and we all went in side.We stood at the door waved bye to Dad and carried on walking.
Then Auntie Treena arrived from the taxi and we all went to get on the train.
We found our seats and about 10 mins later when everyone was on, the train set off. Off we went out of Blackpool going to Manchester where we changed trains. In Manchester train station we caught another train going to London. It took 4 hour to get there but didn't seem that long at all.We finally got to London and found the travelodge got the keys to our rooms and went in to dump our suit-cases.
Went out-side and had a look around to see where everything was.
After a busy day we had tea in a really yummy place called Garfunkel's a very popular eating place where we ate every night.
When we were in London we went on the following places:
- London Eye
- Tower of London
- Buckingham Palace
- Hampton Court Palace
- Hamleys toy shop
- Harrods
- Prince Edwards Theatre
- River Thames boat trip
- London underground
- National History Museum
- Covent gardens
- Picadilly circus
- Leicester square
- Trafalgar square
All of these we managed to do in 4 days!!
We also did plenty of walking and it was very very busy in London in the day and also at night.
In Prince Edwards theatre we watched Mary Poppins and it was amazing and we all enjoyed it. :>>
:.
The characters were just like the proper people in the film. Mary Poppins was the best character in it because she flew with her umbrella and sung all the songs very well. The second day in London we went on the London Eye it is slow so you can take photos of the whole city including the River Thames.
On the River Thames we went on a Halloween boat trip it was really good because the man told us all about all the different buildings that you can see. The boat trip was a little scary there was skeletons sitting next to you also scary sounds as well. :> U-(
In London we went to the biggest toy shop in the world its called Hamleys it had 8 floors full with excellent toys.
We went on the 3rd floor looked around and saw the build a bear workshop in the corner of the room. We walked over there and our Nana said she will buy us one we got all excited and chose our bears picked a sound and went to the lady who stuffed them. After they were stuffed we chose them some nice clothes even shoes and underwear, p.j's and dressing gowns.
Then we made a birth certificate for our bears on the computer then went to the counter to pay for them and collected our birth certificate and came out of the shop.
In London the theatres are very expensive also all the shops. The most expensive shop in London is Harrods because its very popular and is for rich people.
